Find a Bike Shop

For two years I commuted by bike from my Eastlake apartment to my job in Lake Forest Park, near Third Place Books. Everyday regardless of weather, rain, sun, freezing temperatures, snow even, did I mention rain? I can't tell you how many flats I changed on the Burke Gilman trail, but enough to ingrain the importance of having a good flat kit and the skills to change a flat quickly. As a commuter, my bike was a way to work, as a cyclist it was my love. Finding a good repair shop is key to keeping you and your bike healthy. Here are a few good shops around town that provide repair and tune-up services so that you can keep rolling! Find more at daily206.com

Elliott Bay Bike Shop

The service department at Elliott Bay Bicycles is exceptional. We know that working on your bike means more than just turning screwdrivers; it is finding the solutions to your problems. From replacing the cracked rear dropout on your 12 year old De Rosa, repainting it and giving it a complete overhaul to putting an end to your squeaky brakes or chain, we are confident in doing the best job possible.
New customers often come to us with problems that other bike shops couldnt solve. We know that you have better things to do with your bike than bringing it into the shop every week to be repaired. Our goal in the service department is to do whatever it takes to keep you riding.

Recycled Cycles

Recycled Cycles has been keeping Seattle rolling since 1994. We specialize in used and reconditioned bicycles. Of course, we sell new bikes as well, plus a full array of both new and used bicycle components, accessories, and parts.

We have a full service shop to meet your tune-up and repair needs. Along with our standard tune-up packages, we offer specialized repair work and carry a full line of parts to replace those that are frequently worn but not normally available second hand.

JRA Bikes sells new and used bicycles and offers full-service bike repair. Shopping for a cycle or need a tune-up in North Seattle? Visit us our Greenwood locationjust around the corner from Phinney Ridge and close to Ballard & Crown Hill too!

We carry Redline, KHS, Torker and Norco bikes, Yuba utility bikes, as well a wide selection of used bicycles for kids and adults. Our service department can handle everything from flat tire fixes to full tune-ups. We also carry a range of parts and accessories, including lights, fenders, tires, and pumps.

Wright Brothers Cycle Works has been serving the Seattle cycling community since 1974.  We are a unique bike shop, not only handling the repairs of every day commuters but also cyclocross, road racing, offroad, and randonneurs.  (Sorry, we are not an authorized Huffy or Murray service center.)  We also sell common and hard-to-find bike parts and accessories.
Wright Brothers features a co-op workshop space and three levels of bike repair classes.  For details on co-op membership, call or stop by the shop during business hours.
